Fundraising - Annual Giving

Dear Coeur d'Alene Families,

As Chair of Annual Giving I would like to share with you our goals for the 2012-2013 school

year. Annual Giving is the single largest initiative to fund enhanced education programs at

our school. All of the proceeds we raise go directly towards funding Teachers Aides, Arts,

P/E, Music and other programs at Coeur d'Alene. Years ago these were not add-ons. Now

they are, and without parents contributing to our Annual Fund we simply would not have

them.

The Booster Club will be spending over $250,000 during this school year to pay for the

programs that are part of the curriculum today. Please consider including Annual Giving in

your family budget. It is a great way to participate in the school and give back to our vibrant

community.

We strongly encourage families to make their donations or pledges at the beginning of the

give $850, please give as much as you can. If you can give more, please give for a family

that is unable to give. It is all tax deductible and what a great gift it is.

Also, remember that monthly donations are a great option. We saw a significant change last

year when more families embraced this option. For the first time, we almost reached 50%

participation and the school raised more funds than any other year in the past.

The good news is we have been able to keep all the great programs we had in place last

year, while reducing our budget. We too are working hard to do more with less! But we

absolutely need to make these numbers this year. So please, consider participating today.

packet or use the directions on the back of this letter.
