LAUSD does not fund a physical education program at the elementary level.  Coeur d'Alene is fortunate enough to have a complete physical education program for all students K through 5th grade, thanks to the sponsorship of Sports Club L.A.'s For Kids Only Foundation and contributions from the Booster Club.

Under the direction of Program Director Stacey Foxson, professional coaches divide the year into various skill units, such as track, games, and yoga.  Students' physical strength and abilities are measured, and their progress is tracked from the beginning to the end of the year.
